Now taking reservations for the 2017 open water fishing season!!

Make plans now to catch some walleyes !!!

Well June is finally here. Water temps today were in the low to mid 60’s. Walleye fishing is pretty good right now. I am seeing good numbers of larger fish along with limits of keeper fish. Many tactics are working right now across the lake but I am using a jig and shiner. Typically an 1/8 ounce gets the job done but a is in demand at times. Active jigging is the key most days. I have heard good reports from anglers using leeches and crawlers also. Walleyes are being found on sand flats, weeds, points and rocks. 8 to 12ft for the most part but some fish can be had in deeper water as well. As always wind is a “good thing” on Leech but even with minimal wind the fish have been cooperating. Fish seem to be fatter now than they were a couple weeks or so ago so the bite looks to be on.
